    Prayers (salah)

Ya Muslimah! The situation of Muslimah's today necessitates the talk about the most important act of worship in Islâm which is Salâh (prayer). The Messenger of Allâh resorted to it whenever he became distressed about an issue. Prayer is the water spring that never dries and the treasure that never ends. Prayer is the pillar of Islâm and the refuge place for the repentant and the scared. It is the light of the devoted slaves of Allâh. It removes the impurities of the hearts and enlightens them. Whoever is stronger in faith is better in prayer, longer in standing for Allâh in prayer and greater in certainty

Many of our sisters do not wake up for the Fajr Prayer above is a beautiful article 'mending the rift', it addresses this issue in an excellent manner .  Below is a beautiful extract. May Allah shower his mercy on us and over look our mistakes. ameen

There are many benefits to the health derived from waking up for Fajr prayer. For instance, the highest proportion of ozone gas (O3) in the atmosphere is registered at dawn. It then gradually fades away until comlplete disappearance by sunrise. This gas has a very beneficial effect on the nervous system as it vivifies the brain and energises the muscles such that when a person inhales the beautiful breeze of the dawn, known as the SABAA wind, he will experience a pleasure that is unparalleled at any other time of the day or night ."With Medicine in the Noble Qur'aan" p.108 by Abdul-Hameed Dayyaab

The Messenger of Allâh said, “May Allâh bless a man who wakes up in the night and prays; and wakes up his wife and she also prays. If she refuses to stand up, he sprinkles water on her face. May Allâh bless a woman who wakes up in the night and prays and wakes her husband up and he prays, and if he refuses to stand up, she sprinkles water on his face.”
